First Date Red Flags and How I Learned (the hard way) To Go With My Gut

This one's a bit different folks...you will rarely hear me make reference to my dating life (wink), but for this one time, I take you on a first date I went on years ago and what I learned about first impressions, red flags, and what "safe people" look like, or not. This is a slight deviation from our typical parenting conversation, however for you single parents (or just single adults who are dating) out there...this is HUGE as you date again!

I explain several concepts from the book from Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend, Safe People; How to Find Relationships That Are Good for You and Avoid Those That Aren't.
This book is one you want if you A) find yourself often in unhealthy relationships and/or B) want to teach your children how to find and recognize safe/unsafe people.
